There are times in our lives when we need support. Support can come in many different ways; therapy, friends, mentoring and movement. We can't possibly know ALL of the answers. Having a neutral perspective in a sacred, private, non-judgmental space is a powerful combination that can facilitate healing and creating space to find the path again.
The Path is a nourishing blend of yoga, connection and self-discovery. It's not just a yoga class; it's a journey taken with like minded women that creates a bond of support that we crave & need. This connection is fundamental to thrive in our human-ness as moms, friends, partners, entrepreneurs, wives and sisters... ad infinitum.
The Path is a weekly ritual of showing up for yourself. It’s not only about connecting with yourself but also with other like- minded women that have been craving authentic interaction as well as truthful conversation. We carve out space for ourselves each week. We show up again and again; even in the chaos, even when we don’t want to. We do this not just for ourselves but each other. Your pain is our pain. Your joy is our joy. Your healing is our healing. When we practice courage, bravery and vulnerability, it gives others permission to do the same. We do it together. Sometimes we need help. Sometimes we need an extra hand, a discerning ear, a second set of eyes. We can all get in to bad patterns and use unhealthy ways to cope with what is happening around us. Labels create shame, disconnect and additional toxic behaviors.
We can also become stuck. Paralyzed. Overly Analytical. We can no longer see the forest through the trees and EVERYTHING seems overwhelming.
Let's get to the root cause of what is really happening and develop a toolbox full of healthy coping mechanisms. Life will continue to be in session...and you can and will be prepared.

One-on-one sessions start with an intake and discuss reasons for seeking therapeutic-based yoga and goals for working together. Based on the information shared, if appropriate for the issue, I will do a physical assessment. Based on the assessment and our time together, I will offer postures, breath work and/or meditation to create a time friendly, individualized home practice. While honoring and being aware of the connection of body, mind and spirit, our work together will be uncovering and discovering the root of the problem, limitation or concern so you can get back to what is meaningful to you.
Therapeutic-based yoga, with its many facets and teachings, is client centered and can support in creating change in your life's experience. In a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental environment, we can work together to help with:
- Physical injuries/concerns
Increasing mobility and/or strength
*Sometimes during this process, we may find that you are in need of additional support. If that is the case, I will refer you to a licensed therapist.
